Reggae Girl Jai turns heads on and off the pitch

Defender Jaileah McPherson, a Canadian from Burlington, Ontario, has quickly become a regular for the senior Jamaican national team after her first call-up in October. The young player, known as Jai, previously led the under-20 squad as captain. Her parents are Jeffrey and Victoria McPherson.

She balances international soccer with playing college ball for FIU Women's Soccer, where she studies philosophy. McPherson also has a solid club resume, winning a League1 Ontario Women's Premier Championship in 2024 and finishing as a finalist the year before.

A Jamaican social media page called Questimes recently shared photos of her, calling the Reggae Girl beautiful. That post racked up over twelve thousand likes and hundreds of comments. People flooded the replies with praise, one calling her gorgeous and another naming her their favorite.
