Retro Analog Drum Machine with Enhanced Features

Arturia Launches Vintage-Styled Analog Drum Machine.

Arturia has unveiled the DrumBrute Impact 1984, a fresh take on its popular analog drum machine. Its distinctive off-white finish evokes classic musical equipment from the 1980s.

The new model maintains the sonic architecture of the original DrumBrute Impact but presents it in retro-inspired housing. Musicians can shape ten analog drum voices through dedicated "Color" controls and an onboard distortion circuit, offering extensive sound design possibilities.

The instrument's 64-step sequencer enables complex rhythmic patterns with polyrhythmic capabilities. Performance features include Step Repeat and Pattern Looper functions, alongside Mute and Solo grouping options that aid live performances and studio work.

The DrumBrute Impact 1984 provides comprehensive connectivity for modern music production environments. Users can route individual drum voices through separate outputs, integrate with modular systems via CV/Gate connections, and link to other equipment through MIDI and sync ports. An auxiliary audio input allows external sound sources to blend with the drum machine's output.

This release strengthens Arturia's position in the hardware synthesizer market, where vintage-inspired designs continue to attract both professional and amateur musicians. The company aims to combine classic aesthetics with modern functionality in its expanding product range.
