Rob Papen unveils WirePluck synth with four sound engines at $49 launch price

Rob Papen launched WirePluck, a synthesizer that maintains the company's reputation for innovative musical instruments. The software centers around three layers that each contain four distinct synthesis sources for creating unique pluck sounds. Musicians can access Wire synthesis for metallic tones, String synthesis through Karplus physical modeling, FM synthesis with three operators and pitch envelope decay controls, and Wave synthesis featuring subtractive methods with multiple filter options.

The interface provides main screen editing capabilities alongside an advanced parameter section for detailed sound manipulation. WirePluck integrates distortion effects, modulation processors, stereo delay, and reverb processing. The synthesizer features comprehensive arpeggiator functions, chord memory systems, modulation matrix routing, and the signature Ribbon Controller.

Rob Papen priced WirePluck at forty-nine dollars for macOS and Windows platforms across AAX, AU, VST, and VST3 formats. Existing eXplorer-10 bundle owners receive WirePluck through updated installers at no additional charge.
