A construction site accident in Shamva killed Brighton Francis from Epworth after scaffolding gave way while he worked on a roof at a private building, and police confirmed two other crew members got hurt when debris came down. The dead guy got hit by a metal pole during the collapse, while his coworkers, Stephen Chipupuro and Takawira Nyikayaramaba, ended up with cuts on their legs and faces before getting rushed to the district hospital.
All three men worked for Finder Construction Group out of Harare, and cops said the injured workers are stable after treatment. Authorities hauled the body to the hospital morgue for autopsy, and investigators say nothing sketchy happened based on what they saw at the scene.
