The Rights and Risks Analysis Group published findings showing mob lynching incidents surged 400 percent under Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus compared with former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's administration. The report tracked 466 people affected by mob violence between August 2024 and June 2025, with 185 deaths and 281 injuries recorded during this period. Previous government data showed approximately 51 lynching deaths throughout 2023 under Hasina's rule.
