RTX 5070 supply dries up, higher-end cards vanish

PC gaming is officially cooked because the supply chain just completely collapsed again. A frustrated shop owner on Reddit leaked evidence that distributors are cancelling massive orders for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 cards while capping allocations at a measly five units per model. The supplier admitted they hold absolutely zero inventory for higher-tier hardware like the RTX 5070 Ti, 5080, or 5090. This shortage seemingly hits the European market hardest right now as middlemen scramble to fulfill even basic requests.

Amazon Business is allegedly restricting volume purchases to tighten the chokehold on inventory. Specific SKUs from ZOTAC and Gainward faced immediate cancellation, which leaves smaller storefronts with barely any stock to sell. The leaked emails paint a volatile picture where anything above the base 5070 tier is basically nonexistent.

Team Red offers little sanctuary since the AMD RX 9070 XT might face similar restrictions soon, despite being currently available. Artificial intelligence demand continues to ruin pricing for actual gamers, essentially making fair builds impossible.
