Rubina Khalid hails Kashmir's struggle on Accession Day to Pakistan

Senator Rubina Khalid honored Kashmir's people Saturday during Accession to Pakistan Day commemorations. The Benazir Income Support Programme leader recognized their ongoing sacrifices and persistent determination. She noted how Kashmiris adopted a resolution supporting Pakistan's union on July 19, 1947. This decision demonstrated strong emotional and philosophical connections between both regions. Khalid praised their brave resistance against oppression throughout decades of struggle.

The senator highlighted Kashmir's endurance under the current Indian leadership's policies. She emphasized how residents continue to pursue their freedom despite facing harsh treatment. The Pakistan People's Party has consistently advocated for Kashmir internationally through multiple generations. Former leaders Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto championed this cause globally. Current chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari continues this tradition through successful diplomatic efforts that amplify Kashmiri voices worldwide.
