Ruto cracks up crowd with ex jokes at Ichungwah funeral in Kikuyu

President William Ruto entertained funeral attendees while delivering remarks about the late Mzee Isaac Ichung'wah Ngugi. Leaders had made several references to former romantic relationships during their speeches. The President noticed his wife, Rachel, attempting to catch his attention during these discussions. He deliberately focused his gaze forward to avoid potential questioning from the First Lady. Ruto assured mourners that Rachel understands his transparent nature regarding personal matters.

The President commended the deceased for his exceptional character and generous spirit. Mzee Ngugi had reunited with a former girlfriend who became his third wife. The woman brought eight children from previous relationships into their marriage. The elder adopted all eight children and provided them with complete education. Ruto emphasized that such actions demonstrated remarkable compassion and required a person of outstanding moral standing.
