RX 9070 XT outpaces RTX 50 sales, but not everywhere

AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT moved almost 925 cards at one German shop while the entire RTX 50 lineup combined barely hit 920 units. The flagship RDNA 4 card crushed the RTX 5070 Ti, which couldn't even crack 400 sales. The RX 9060 XT also did solid numbers with 515 units sold.

Thing is, this trend doesn't hold everywhere. The RTX 5070 leads at plenty of other stores, though Amazon and Newegg currently show the RX 9070 XT on top. AMD shipped over 1,560 GPUs total at this retailer while Nvidia stayed under 1,000.

The RX 9070 XT finally dropped closer to MSRP after launch, which probably explains why people are actually buying it. Meanwhile, the regular RX 9070 keeps getting ignored with only 40 units moved, since gamers apparently prefer the RTX 5070's better ray tracing, even though raster performance is basically the same.
