Ryzen 5 7500X3D debuts in $999 PowerSpec G527 at Micro Center

A desktop computer featuring AMD's unannounced Ryzen 5 7500X3D processor has appeared at Micro Center through PowerSpec's G527 model, priced at $999. The system pairs the six-core chip with an MSI B850M motherboard, 32 gigabytes of DDR5 memory operating at 6,000 megatransfers per second, one terabyte of solid-state storage, and a Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card with 16 gigabytes of video memory. Additional bundled components include Windows 11 Home, WiFi 6E connectivity, and basic input peripherals.

Analysis of component pricing suggests the processor may retail near $200 when sold separately, positioning it below the $299 Ryzen 5 7600X3D while delivering comparable gaming capabilities through its 96 megabytes of total L3 cache. The chip operates at a 4.0 gigahertz base frequency with expected boost speeds reaching approximately 4.5 to 4.6 gigahertz. AMD has not confirmed pricing or availability details for standalone processor sales.
