Saber's Jurassic Park Survival is still stuck in a slow pre-alpha

Saber Interactive and NBC Universal released new footage from their upcoming first-person horror title, Jurassic Park Survival. The behind-the-scenes documentary features commentary from development teams at both studios. Creators discussed their collaborative efforts to accurately recreate environments from the original 1993 film.

The video introduces protagonist Dr. Maya Joshi while showcasing detailed dinosaur animation work. Developers emphasized their commitment to the authentic recreation of recognizable film elements. Brief pre-alpha gameplay segments reveal first-person mechanics and navigation tools. Players will use handheld maps and compasses to traverse the dangerous island setting.

The footage displays a noise detection system that monitors player movement volume. This represents the first substantial game preview since the December 2023 announcement trailer. Development teams have not confirmed any release timeframe for the prehistoric survival experience. The pre-alpha designation suggests extended development time remains before public availability.
