Samini advises artists to invest in land over cars

Dancehall artist Samini has urged musicians to prioritize land purchases over luxury vehicles as a means of securing long-term financial stability. During an interview on Hitz FM, the performer explained that advice from an older mentor transformed his spending habits during his early twenties when he frequently purchased expensive cars. The elder counselor emphasized that property values increase while automobiles depreciate, noting that land purchased at current prices could multiply in value significantly over a decade.

Samini acknowledged that flashy possessions serve legitimate branding purposes for entertainers but stressed the importance of restraint. He recommended that artists with surplus funds invest in real estate rather than additional short-term assets, pointing out that land ownership provides guaranteed appreciation and future security, unlike depreciating purchases.
