Sample Logic introduces Animation Station Pro

Sample Logic shipped Animation Station Pro, a plugin that hosts other plugins, built by Pitch Innovations. VST3 instruments and effects load inside it, which means they finally run inside hosts that accept Audio Units alone, such as Logic Pro.

Two engines drive everything. The MIDI half recycles the arpeggiator and step sequencer from Animation Station 2.0, with ABCD pattern switching, up to 64 steps, per-step tweaks to velocity, rate, duration, stutter, and transpose, and drag-and-drop export.

The FX engine is the fresh part. Six independent animations can each behave as a step sequencer, an LFO, or a macro, and a learn function pins any of them to any parameter on a hosted plugin.

A Channel Preset grabs the instrument, the effect, both animation layers, and every learn assignment in a single recallable preset. Over 900 presets ship inside, alongside the Breaking Borders set from Ben Aylon. Intro pricing sits at $89, down from $119.

Formats cover VST3, Audio Unit, AAX, and a standalone app, running on macOS 10.13 or newer and Windows 10 or newer, with 6 GB of RAM needed.
