Samsung Color E Ink Screen Ditches Power Drain

Samsung launched a new 32-inch color e-paper screen for businesses. The EM32DX model uses digital ink to save power and stay bright. Companies can put these displays on walls or tables without cables. The screen weighs just 2.5 kilograms and measures 17.9 millimeters thick. Static images need zero watts of electricity to show.

The display shows 2560 by 1440 pixels with sharp colors. Special software makes images look like printed posters. Users control the screen through phone apps on Android and Apple devices. Two USB-C ports connect the display to other equipment. Built-in battery lets the screen work anywhere without power cords.

Samsung made the cover from recycled plastic and uses paper boxes. The company has led digital signs for sixteen straight years. Their 2024 market share hit 34.6 percent worldwide. Business owners can manage many screens from one computer system. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect the displays to office networks.
