Nigeria Customs Service collected 3.5 billion naira at its Seme border office from January through May. Controller Benedict Oramalugo shared these numbers during a visit from Zone A coordinator Charles Orbih. The command helped move 220,300 metric tons of goods worth 47 billion naira out of the country. Officers also stopped smugglers and seized items valued at 889 million naira. These seizures contained expired medicines, marijuana and dangerous mercury.
