Approximately 70 organizations united under the banner People of Western Seoul Opposing the Far-right to organize the counter-rally. The coalition brought together immigrant advocacy groups, human rights organizations, and members of the Democratic Labor Party. Their action directly challenged a competing demonstration by supporters of impeached former President Yoon Suk Yeol.
