Director Unni Sivalingam has revealed Akshay Radhakrishnan's character look from the upcoming Malayalam sports drama Balti. Radhakrishnan portrays Pratheep in the Kabaddi-centered film starring Shane Nigam as lead actor Udhayan. The production team postponed the worldwide release from August 29 to September 26 this year. Nigam plays a fearless raider who intimidates opposing team defenses in this landmark 25th film of his career. Sai Abhyankkar composed the musical score for this action-packed sports drama.
The cast features Preethi Asrani and Shanthanu Baghyaraj in important roles alongside director Alphonse Puthren as gangster Soda Babu. Baghyaraj appears as Kumar while Selvaraghavan takes on the role of Porthamarai Bhairavan. Santhosh T Kuruvilla and Binu George Alexander produce the film through STK Frames and Binu George Alexander Productions. Alex J Pulickal handles cinematography while Ashik S manages art direction. Action sequences feature choreography by Action Sandhosh and Vicky, with editing completed by Shivkumar V Panicker.
