Shawn Storm’s joke track went viral, don’t test likkle fool

Shawn Storm, a long-time affiliate of Vybz Kartel, recently discussed his sudden hit track "Itch Scratch". The artist, born Shawn Campbell, jumped into a clash originally involving Tommy Lee Sparta and Masicka. His track ended up overshadowing everyone else. In an interview with Winford Williams, Storm admitted he never thought the song would blow up. He said he was just messing around over a beat, recording about four minutes of nonsense. He credited the producer DJ Lux for actually structuring the chaotic audio into a real song. Storm released it casually, having no idea it would catch fire. He even took a few days to notice it was going viral on platforms like TikTok, where people hating on it and dancers using it actually fueled its spread.

He insisted the track, despite its aggressive tone, was not a diss aimed at any specific person. He was just in a particular mood during the recording, which explains why no other artist is named. Storm now plans a major music video for "Itch Scratch" and is working on more new material. Regarding the ongoing clash with Masicka and others, he claims the direction is unclear. He suggested names get thrown around because some artists just want attention and clout. According to Storm, Vybz Kartel himself has no reason to respond to any of the disses being sent his way.

Storm believes the core reason behind other artists targeting Kartel is simple jealousy and greed.
