Shibli hits ton as Dhaka reply strongly to Rajshahi

Ashikur Rahman Shibli's unbeaten 112 anchored Dhaka's recovery to 252 for 4 against Rajshahi in the National Cricket League at Rajshahi Divisional Stadium. After losing two early wickets for 12 runs, Shibli built a steadying partnership with Anisul Islam, who contributed 97 before falling three short of a century. Rajshahi bowler Ashraful Islam Siam claimed five wickets to maintain pressure on the batting side.

Mymensingh gained an advantage over Chattogram after dismissing their opponents for 210, with Shahadat Hossain Dipu leading the scoring with 65. Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury and Arif Ahmed each took four wickets before openers Mahfijul Islam Robin and Naim Sheikh guided their team to 82 without loss.

Barishal struggled to 90 for 7 in response to Rangpur's 202, while Khulna posted 259 against Sylhet with Md Mithun top scoring at 44 before the hosts reached 28 without loss.
