Siddhant Chaturvedi becomes rebel legend Shantaram

Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi revealed his transformation into legendary filmmaker V. Shantaram for an upcoming biopic. The first poster shows him in period attire with a vintage camera, backed by a symbolic eagle. Director Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande helms the project, presented by several production houses.

The late director founded major studios like Prabhat Film Company and Rajkamal Kalamandir. His landmark works include the first Marathi talkie and classics such as Do Aankhen Barah Haath. He later received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
