Slimcase caught playing trash in LAWMA’s threads, sorry

The skit maker known as Slimcase, real name Oluwafemi Oladipo, just issued a public apology to the Lagos State Waste Management Authority. He used their official uniform and one of their garbage trucks in a video without getting permission first. He posted his apology directly on Instagram.

Slimcase explained that the whole concept was his idea alone. He said he wanted the skit to highlight the dignity of manual labor, pointing out how jobs like waste collection are important and noble. He insisted he never meant to make LAWMA or the Lagos government look bad. The guy confirmed he already took the video down from every platform where he posted it. He acted after people started complaining about it. He also made clear that no other copies or edited versions of the clip are floating around out there. He stressed that the agency did not help make the content or put its stamp on it.

The comedian accepted full responsibility for the situation. He expressed his respect for the work LAWMA does in cleaning up Lagos. Slimcase finished by saying he will be way more careful about this stuff when he plans his next projects.
