Smriti Irani prays in red, not here for your drama

Smriti Irani, the actress and politician, posted a temple pic from Tirupati. She was in a red saree, praying in front of the Balaji statue. Her caption just said something about being at the lord's feet.

She is also starring as Tulsi in that reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. People seem to like it. On her socials, she talks about everything from films to politics. She recently praised the movie Dhurandhar and its director, Aditya Dhar. Irani wrote a long note saying the film reflects real struggles, like those of soldiers' families or terror attack survivors. She argued it should not cause anger for people who know those realities.

She complimented the director's skill and the actors, like Akshaye Khanna and Ranveer Singh. The music also got a shoutout. Irani called the film an echo of lives lost, not just entertainment. She admitted seeing a fictional version of Ajit Doval, played by R Madhavan, felt strange. She ended by thanking real-life security personnel for their service.
