A charity group provided donations to hundreds of people in the Bole District. The Sol Charity Organization gave out food and clothes as part of its year-end program for vulnerable groups. Its president, Vida Dawuda Gyawu, said the group works to assist people nationwide, having done similar events in other cities.
The organization's secretary, Stephen Tetteh, noted they helped around two hundred people, more than initially planned. He called for support from philanthropists and companies to keep the annual effort going. Beneficiaries, including widows and single mothers, thanked the group for the timely assistance. The charity aims to restore hope for poor and marginalized communities dealing with hardship and disaster.
