Sonakshi Sinha's brother Luv Sinha reveals limited screens for Nikita Roy due to competition

Sonakshi Sinha starred in the supernatural thriller Nikita Roy, which marked her brother Kussh S Sinha's first film as director. The movie faced theater distribution challenges that brother Luv Sinha attributed to unexpected situations. Media reports suggest YRF's Saiyaara, featuring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, limited available screening venues. Despite these obstacles, positive audience reactions have generated momentum through word-of-mouth recommendations. Kussh emphasized the film's original storytelling approach and powerful narrative structure.

Veteran director Subhash Ghai praised the debut filmmaker's command and technical skills. Ghai drew comparisons between Kussh's directorial style and Alfred Hitchcock's classic suspense techniques. The film features established actors Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal, and Suhail Nayyar in key supporting roles. Theaters began showing Nikita Roy on July 18th. Ghai encouraged audiences to support independent filmmakers who create original content rather than formulaic productions.
