SonicProjects just dropped a version for synth nerds who like to tweak. This Programmer's Edition of their OP-X PRO-3 plugin sports a cleaner layout with pop-up hints for easier editing. Color themes can be swapped right inside the plugin, limiting choices to blue or a dark mode, ditching the old beige look. Underneath, it is the same synth with all the original sound and features.
It packs twelve individually tunable voices. You get ten filter types that can morph, five envelope generators, and four LFOs. A modulation matrix offers five slots for routing. There is an arpeggiator with thirty-two patterns plus an eight-step sequencer. Chord hold and preset functions are built in.
