Athletes from different provinces came to White City Stadium for track competitions. The National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe wanted to find the best runners before national tryouts. Provincial teams competed hard to earn spots at senior qualifiers scheduled for Harare during late July. Many runners showed strong skills across sprint and distance events. The meet helped coaches identify talent for future competitions.

Samukeliso Ndebele won both 100-meter and 200-meter races during the weekend event. She felt happy about her hard training paying off with first-place finishes. Wellington Varevi ran fast times but expected better performance from himself. He explained that pressure usually helps him compete at higher levels. Competition brings out the best effort from most athletes.

Mthabisi Dube finally earned gold after finishing second last year. He felt excited about beating other runners and making his coach proud. The victory meant a lot after months of difficult training sessions. His supporters cheered loudly when he crossed the finish line first. Athletes work hard for these breakthrough moments.

NAAZ President Tendai Tagara brought electronic timing equipment from South Africa. He wanted accurate results that athletes could trust completely. Fair competition requires precise measurement of all race times. International timing specialists operated the equipment during each event. Proper technology ensures honest results for every runner.
