St Petersburg dads up for parental leave

A recent survey reveals interesting trends about parental leave among St. Petersburg men. Approximately 30% of working married men planning families are completely prepared to take parental leave. Another 11% consider replacing their wives during maternity leave.

Local companies are already adapting to changing family dynamics. About 15% of organizations now offer men parental leave extending up to three years. However, the survey shows significant diversity in male attitudes toward childcare responsibilities.

Despite the progressive trends, a majority of men remain hesitant. Roughly 59% of respondents still consider taking parental leave unlikely. The study highlights the ongoing cultural shift in traditional parental roles within St. Petersburg's workforce.
