Steam Deck tames Baldur’s Gate 3 Act 3, benchmarks ghosted

Larian Studio released a native Steam Deck version of Baldur's Gate 3 that delivers enhanced performance across the handheld platform. Deck Wizard published video footage demonstrating smoother gameplay during Act 3 sequences, which traditionally challenge all gaming systems with demanding computational requirements. Performance measurement remains impossible since benchmarking applications cannot function without Proton compatibility layers.

AMD FSR 4 technology stays unavailable through this native implementation, yet players can still access Lossless Scaling features for visual enhancement. Hotfix 34 brought this Steam Deck optimization alongside Xbox stability patches and various gameplay corrections. The extensive role-playing adventure benefits from native handheld support given its lengthy campaign structure and complex mechanics adapted from Dungeons and Dragons fifth edition ruleset.
