Steve Spesho teams up with Billy Kaunda on Amapiano jam

Steve Spesho makes his dream come true working with famous Billy Kaunda on a new Amapiano song called "Le" coming out May 14th, 2025. He told Malawi24 that "Le" stands for "Udzitolele" and people will understand when they hear the full track. Spesho, whose mom was the late singer Grace Chinga Moffat, can perform rap, trap, and Ama Piano styles. He says music changes about every two years, and artists need to change with current trends like a chameleon changes colors.

The new album will include two Ama Piano songs, with "Le" being the first release. Spesho produced it himself under the name Gimme the Beat, with help from four unnamed producers. He credits Elvis Ching'oma with helping him learn music production. After staying away from music since 2019, Spesho admits he listened to other people's opinions way too much. He decided to be true to himself and not let critics stop his progress.

Spesho says artists facing criticism should remember that people who write mean comments online often lack intelligence. He suggests using criticism as motivation to improve instead. "Le" comes from his upcoming album, which will be named soon. Spesho returns to music ready to inspire others as he follows his passion.
