GRA Teams Up with Zenith for Better Revenue

The Gambia Revenue Authority and Zenith Bank signed a new agreement on Thursday. Commissioner General Yankuba Darboe greeted bank officials at the event and explained how this partnership makes paying taxes easier for everyone. He mentioned that the agreement boosts their money collection systems and creates better ease, openness, and responsibility for all parties involved.

Deputy Commissioner Essa Jallow thanked Zenith representatives for joining forces with the tax authority. He described banks as basically working as extra offices for the tax agency. "We aim not just to collect cash from taxpayers but also make sure our services meet the highest standards and give complete satisfaction to people who hand their money to GRA," Jallow explained during the meeting.

Zenith Bank's Managing Director Mustapha Kabiru expressed gratitude for being included in this partnership and promised his bank would create smooth and effective methods to help the government collect the money it needs. The agreement marks a step forward in improving tax payment processes throughout The Gambia.
