Sunderland stuns Chelsea with late 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge

Sunderland defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the ninth round of the Premier League on Saturday. Shemendin Talabi scored the decisive goal in stoppage time after receiving a pass from Proby and placing a low shot past the goalkeeper.

Chelsea opened the scoring through Alejandro Garnacho in the fourth minute before Wilson Isidor equalized for the visitors in the 22nd minute. The late winner lifted Sunderland to 17 points and provisional second place in the standings, while Chelsea remained on 14 points in seventh position.
