Police arrested a driver who helped armed criminals steal money from his employer's office. Samson Gora worked for Rafiq Adam at Merchantman Enterprises on Cameroon Street. Court papers show Gora gave important details about cash storage to the robbery gang. The theft happened on June 16 when criminals took 600,000 US dollars from the business. Detectives caught Gora eleven days later after receiving tips about his involvement.
The robbery gang included Nyengerayi Chikwadze and Oscar Muchenje along with two foreign suspects who escaped. These criminals pretended to be customers when they entered Adam's office carrying a gun. One robber hit Adam with the weapon and demanded keys to the company safe.
