Synergix Africa wrapped up its first webinar series for young Nigerian entrepreneurs with a big celebration in Abuja. The program ran for several weeks online through WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and Google Meet, where participants learned about validation, branding, finance, compliance, and pitching. Founder Ken Nwokike got emotional talking about how everyone pushed through power outages, doubt, and money problems to finish.
Ijeoma Chinechelum Onwuadi took home six million naira as the top winner, while Luqman Sulaiman Naibi and Eloghosa Lester Oviahon each got two million naira as runners-up. A bunch of people who had only met digitally finally hugged it out at the reception, and they're all getting digital certificates plus access to the wider Synergix community for ongoing mentorship.
The second cohort is already rolling, and the organization plans to keep expanding its mission to help African founders level up their game.
