t4 Digital Studio introduced free AlterVerb 53 VST3 reverb

t4 Digital Studio is giving Windows producers AlterVerb 53 at no fixed cost, with the effect built to add roomy depth without smearing busy material. The VST3 keeps early reflections and the longer decay under separate control, which gives users room to shape front-end space and lingering ambience independently.

Elsewhere, room dimensions, density, diffusion, damping, modulation, and a reverse-like attack can all be adjusted. Presets can be stored or recalled, while the interface can stretch to fit different screen setups. Pretty straightforward, but there is plenty to tweak.

Peak Smooth handles sharp upper-frequency spikes inside the wet signal, aiming to tame brittle spots without dulling the brighter detail. AlterVerb 53 costs nothing to download, though users can optionally pay whatever amount they want to support the developer.
