Take-Two posts record $1.42B bookings as CEO touts stacked lineup with Judas

Take-Two Interactive delivered exceptional financial performance during its first quarter of fiscal year 2026. The gaming publisher achieved net bookings totaling $1.42 billion, representing a seventeen percent increase from the previous year's $1.22 billion. Recurring revenue streams from virtual currency, downloadable content, and microtransactions contributed eighty-three percent of total earnings. Popular franchises such as NBA 2K25, Grand Theft Auto series, and various mobile games drove these impressive results.

Chief Executive Officer Strauss Zelnick announced an ambitious release schedule for the upcoming twelve months. The company plans to launch multiple high-profile titles spanning different genres and platforms. Mafia The Old Country leads the roster alongside NBA 2K26, Borderlands 4, and Grand Theft Auto 6. Additional projects from subsidiary studios will expand the portfolio further. Zelnick expressed particular confidence regarding Mafia The Old Country's commercial prospects, describing the premium title as appropriately priced and visually stunning.
