Talent Chirongoma murdered his elderly father with an axe during a violent confrontation Wednesday evening. The 28-year-old attacked 86-year-old Tinos Chirongoma at their family farm after consuming alcohol with companion Tichawona Ndlovu. Apostolic Church members fled when Talent accused them of speaking with a witch. The son knocked his friend unconscious with a wooden log before repeatedly striking his father with the axe.
