The Taliban said the Washington shooting that injured two National Guard members has zero connection to Afghanistan. Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi blamed American training programs for the incident and claimed the suspect left Afghanistan through sketchy channels that broke international rules. Rahmanullah Lakanwal entered not-guilty pleas after being charged with the attack.
