Tarique mourns brother, fateha after 17 years abroad

A political heir visited a family grave after years away. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman went to Banani Graveyard to offer fateha at the burial site of his younger brother, Arafat Rahman Koko. This followed his completion of voter registration and National Identity Card formalities at the Election Commission. He joined a munajat there, praying for his brother's soul. Koko, known as a sports organizer, had passed away from cardiac arrest in Malaysia. His body was returned and buried in Banani. This marked the first time Tarique could visit the grave personally, having lived abroad for nearly seventeen years. His recent return allowed for this family observance, coming after a similar visit to his father Ziaur Rahman's grave the previous day.
