The BNP's acting chairman is finally back from exile. Tarique Rahman returned to Bangladesh after nearly seventeen years abroad, greeted by a huge crowd of supporters. Senior party figure Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain received him upon arrival. Rahman will operate from two locations: a newly prepared office on the second floor of the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office and a separate chamber at the party's Nayapaltan central office. Both buildings were freshly painted and decorated for his return.
Ahead of the election, the party also rented a four-story building on Gulshan's Road No 90 to serve as an election coordination center. This secured facility includes a briefing room, departmental seating, and a research cell.
