Tarique Rahman sets up shop in freshly painted BNP offices

The BNP's acting chairman is finally back from exile. Tarique Rahman returned to Bangladesh after nearly seventeen years abroad, greeted by a huge crowd of supporters. Senior party figure Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain received him upon arrival. Rahman will operate from two locations: a newly prepared office on the second floor of the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office and a separate chamber at the party's Nayapaltan central office. Both buildings were freshly painted and decorated for his return.

Ahead of the election, the party also rented a four-story building on Gulshan's Road No 90 to serve as an election coordination center. This secured facility includes a briefing room, departmental seating, and a research cell. The homecoming has generated significant public attention and strong emotions within the party, with leaders calling the event historic.
