Techivation just dropped an EQ that basically does the thinking for you. Their new M-EQ plugin uses adaptive smart bands for surgical-level control with only three frequency ranges. Each band performs real-time analysis, automatically applying boosts where sound lacks energy and cutting areas with excessive buildup. This approach aims to replace manual tweaking across many static bands with intelligent, musical adjustments.
An integrated Mix Assistant analyzes incoming audio to suggest a starting EQ configuration for better balance. The tool includes per-band saturation controls and stereo balancing options. A visual spectrum analyzer, mid-side processing, and oversampling capabilities are also part of the feature set. The interface is fully scalable and supports preset recall.
