ThaLoops Debuts Acoustic Guitar Plugin for Rich Warm Chords

ThaLoops just released "Acoustic Guitar," a brand new chord sample library that brings real guitar sounds right into your music production setup. They recorded every note and chord at a pro studio with three high-end mics: the Neumann U-87, AKG C-12, and Schoeps CMC6-UG. These fancy microphones capture that rich, full guitar sound many producers want but struggle to find.

Musicians can play chords with their left hand and melodies with their right, thanks to the Split Play layout. You'll switch between major, minor, dominant 7, and diminished seven chords by pressing keys from C0 to B0. The single notes range from E3 to C6 and come with five different playing strengths. The library includes finger picks, regular picking, muted notes, and even string squeaks for that authentic guitar feel.

The full package works as both a VST and AU plugin, making it compatible with most music software. It comes packed with more than 200 chord samples ready to use right away. The developers added several built-in effects you can tweak to shape your guitar sound exactly how you want it. Players will love the six different playing styles that help create realistic guitar performances.

The entire collection takes up 1.4GB of space on your computer. That's not huge compared to many sample libraries these days. ThaLoops focused on making this instrument simple yet powerful enough for both beginners and experienced producers who need authentic acoustic guitar sounds without hiring a session player or recording themselves.
