Amazon Prime Video will broadcast The Game Awards for the first time when the ceremony takes place on December 11, 2025, at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. Creator and host Geoff Keighley announced that the streaming service will join existing distribution partners YouTube, Twitch, X, and TikTok in delivering the program to viewers across more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
The partnership extends beyond simple streaming access. Amazon plans to open a dedicated storefront featuring Game Awards merchandise and time-sensitive promotions on nominated titles, recent releases, and gaming hardware that will be revealed during the broadcast. Keighley emphasized that the addition of Prime Video represents an expansion rather than a replacement of current platforms and stressed that Amazon's involvement will not alter the show's format or content. The executive noted his determination to maintain the event's presence on YouTube and Twitch, where it originally launched in 2014.
