John Arufandika received the Emerging Technologies Award for developing a large language model supporting 14 regional languages, including Shona, Bemba, and Tswana. Thina Mpofu was recognized for feeding 75 children during the pandemic through a UK church partnership, while Wilfred Mashaya earned the Sports Impact Award for steering at-risk youth away from substance abuse through martial arts, recently securing 43 medals with a team of eight in the UK.
