The US government deported eight to South Sudan, Juba left fuming

America sent eight people back to South Sudan last Saturday. Seven of them came from other countries that officials refuse to name. One person actually belonged to South Sudan. The deportation happened through normal government channels that both countries follow.

South Sudan's foreign ministry announced the arrivals on Tuesday. The deportees landed at Juba International Airport after their long flight from America. Local authorities took charge of all eight people right away. Officials are checking their backgrounds and making sure they stay safe. The process follows South Sudan's laws and international rules.

This deportation brings back memories of April's messy situation. America tried to send a man from Congo to South Sudan twice. Juba airport workers refused to let him enter both times. The rejection made American officials very angry about the whole mess.

America punished South Sudan for not taking the Congo man. Officials cancelled visas for all South Sudanese passport holders as revenge. The punishment has lasted three months and affects thousands of innocent people. Secretary Rubio said the ban stays until South Sudan cooperates fully.

South Sudan's government says they handled this new deportation properly. They want to fix relations with America and work together again. The foreign ministry believes both countries can solve their problems through honest talks. Officials hope this cooperation will end the visa ban that hurts regular citizens.
