NVIDIA released a new driver update for RTX 50 cards that fixes several game problems. Players can forget about crashes when characters transform in Black Myth: Wukong or freeze after loading saves in Horizon Forbidden West. The update stops blank screens on LG monitors using DisplayPort 2.1 with HDR and ends flickering at high refresh rates for many users with multiple monitors.
Games like Forza Horizon 5 lose those annoying nighttime light flickers, and Forza Motorsport tracks stay clear during night races. After this update, Red Dead Redemption 2 starts properly in DX12 mode. Dead Island 2 runs correctly again after earlier driver problems. Resident Evil 4 Remake background textures appear normal without flickering effects.
