Three women hurt a man at a bar because they thought he had taken one of their phones. These women were Mavis Gambiza, Sharon Tayengwa, and Sharon Mafushe. A judge named Mr. Matova said they must stay in jail until March 3.
The three women saw Charles Julius at a place called Babylon Bar on February 13. Mavis Gambiza said Charles stole her phone. The women became very angry. They hit Charles many times on his head with a cooking pot and other things.
Someone took Charles to the hospital. The doctors fixed his injuries and let him go home that same day. But Charles died at his home two days later. The police came and caught the three women right after they learned Charles had died.
The women asked if they could leave jail until their next court date. The judge told them they needed to ask a bigger court, the High Court, for that. They must stay in jail until someone from the High Court says they can come out.
