TI-Ghana adds six new members to fight corruption

Transparency International Ghana has welcomed six new members to expand its expertise and strengthen its anti-corruption mission. The inductees bring diverse professional backgrounds from law, healthcare, public administration and civil society advocacy.

Joseph Whittal from the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice joined the organization alongside Dr. Eric Oduro Osae, who practices as both a lawyer and a chartered accountant. Francis Ameyibor heads Communication for Development and Advocacy Consult, while Dr. Abigail Nyarko Codjoe Denkyi-Kwarteng serves at the National Health Insurance Authority. Beauty Emefa Narteh leads the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition, and Dr. Samuel Bediako-Asante works as a managing consultant.

Board Chairman Reverend Dr. Emmanuel K. Ansah welcomed the additions during the organization's 13th annual membership meeting held in Accra. Executive Director Mary Awelana Addah outlined ambitious plans for the coming five years, emphasizing youth engagement through expanded Integrity Clubs and systematic reforms through partnerships. The group is committed to conducting at least two major research studies annually while developing staff capabilities to match international standards. Members pledged to collaborate with government agencies and private organizations to make corruption a high-risk activity throughout Ghana.
