Tim David smashes 37-ball ton as Australia seals T20I series over West Indies

Australia secured their Twenty20 series against the West Indies after Tim David's remarkable batting performance on Friday. David reached his century from just 37 deliveries, striking eleven sixes and six boundaries to guide his team to victory. The tourists successfully chased down a target of 215 runs with 23 balls remaining at Warner Park. Australia established an unassailable 3-0 advantage in the five-match competition.

David partnered with Mitchell Owen to create a record fifth-wicket stand worth 128 runs. Owen contributed 36 runs from 16 balls while David achieved the fastest half-century by an Australian male player. The West Indies had posted 214 for four wickets after winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Shai Hope anchored their innings with an unbeaten 102 from 57 deliveries, marking his first Twenty20 international century and making him the second West Indies player to score hundreds across all cricket formats.
