Toontrack has released Infinity Grid EZX, the 71st expansion for its EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3 software, featuring the distinctive percussion work of Jay Postones from progressive metal group TesseracT. The library contains three complete drum configurations recorded at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville with engineer Steve Blackmon, offering users five kick drums, ten snares, 15 toms, 22 cymbals and two hi-hat sets tailored for contemporary metal productions.
The collection includes presets developed by Blackmon, Toontrack staff and TesseracT guitarist Acle Kahney that incorporate layered samples to enhance attack and depth. Musicians seeking unprocessed sounds can access original mix presets that exclude additional processing. The package contains MIDI patterns performed by Postones and sells for 89 dollars.
