Tanzania Revenue Authority distributed 30 million shillings among 15 entrepreneurial associations in Ilala Tax Region, fulfilling Commissioner General Yusuph Mwenda's September pledge during the Special Business Facilitation Desk launch for Dar es Salaam. Regional Manager Eva Raphael, representing Mwenda, allocated 2 million shillings per group to support commercial expansion while acknowledging recipients' advocacy efforts on behalf of tax administration.
Recipients included vendor associations from Ilala, Buguruni Kwa Simba, Zingiziwa, Kisutu, Msongola, Ferry International Fish Market, Chanika, Mnadani Pugu, Gongolamboto, Vingunguti, Kigogo, Kimanga, Segerea and Kinyerezi markets, alongside motorcycle and tricycle operator unions. Ferry fish market Chairman Nasoro Mbaga and Pugu Mnadani market Assistant Secretary Felix Chilumate expressed appreciation for acknowledging small-scale traders.
